Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This policy explains what prwise collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Short version: we read pull-request metadata so we can show you review analytics, and we do not store your source code. The details are below.

1Who we are

prwise is provided by DHDTech.io, Sheridan, Wyoming. We are the data controller for the information described here. If you have a question, email [email protected].

2What we store, and why

Everything below is what the Service actually reads from your GitHub organization, and the reason it needs it. We only collect what the analytics require.

Account

What we store
Name, email, avatar, language, theme, and your preferred timezone.
Why
To run your account, show who authored and reviewed what, and compute after-hours and business-hours in the right timezone.

GitHub connection

What we store
The organization you authorize and the GitHub App installation details.
Why
To know which repositories to read and to reconnect on your behalf when you ask us to.

Pull-request activity

What we store
PR titles, numbers, labels, branch names, open/merge/close times, line counts, authors, reviewers, review states and dates, review and comment text, review requests, timeline events, and branch-protection settings.
Why
To compute time to first review, cycle time, review load, merge compliance, aging and collaboration, and to drill into the PRs behind any number.

Derived metrics

What we store
The analytics themselves: TTFR, cycle-time segments, compliance flags, blocking state, load distribution and after-hours share.
Why
That is the product. We keep the results so the reports load fast and so you can compare one window to the next.

Usage and logs

What we store
How you use the Service, your IP address, and security logs.
Why
To keep the Service secure, diagnose faults, and understand which features people actually use.

3What we do not collect

We do not store your source code contents, file diffs, or the body of your commits. We record that a pull request changed a number of lines and which file a review comment pointed at, but not the code itself. We do not read private repositories you have not authorized, and we do not collect data about people outside your organization's pull requests.

4How we use your data

We use the data above to provide and improve the Service, to secure it, and to offer support. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to send you third-party advertising.

5Legal bases

Where GDPR applies, we rely on performance of the contract (you connect GitHub to get the analytics), our legitimate interests (running and securing a product you asked for), and consent where you have opted into something optional. Where CCPA applies, we do not sell your data and we honor your requests under that law.

6Who we share it with

We share data only with the people who need it to run the Service: our hosting and cloud infrastructure provider, GitHub (which is the source of the data), email and payments processors, and an analytics provider that tells us how the product is used. That analytics data is separate from your GitHub data. Each of these processors is bound by a contract that limits what they can do with your data.

We may disclose data if the law compels us to, or to protect the rights and safety of others.

7How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account and GitHub connection are active, so the reports keep working. If you disconnect GitHub, syncing stops but the data already ingested stays with us until you ask us to delete it. If you close your account, we delete the data, with a short delay for backups. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

8Security

We protect data in transit and at rest, and we limit who inside our team can reach it. No method is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps and review them.

9Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict how we use your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. In California you have rights under CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe the law allows.

10Cookies

We use a few essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. If we use analytics cookies, we only do so with your consent where required, and you can opt out in your account settings.

11Children

The Service is not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us their data, tell us and we will remove it.

12International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses for that transfer.

13Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the update.

14Contact

For any privacy question, email [email protected] or call +1 (458) 216-2041.
